About Us
At Steadfast Advocacy, our work is deeply personal. Having navigated the healthcare system both as a caregiver for a parent living with Parkinson's disease and as a patient herself, our founder knows firsthand how overwhelming it can be. Those experiences made one thing clear: no one should have to face the complexities of healthcare on their own.
That belief is at the heart of everything we do. Steadfast Advocacy was formed because we know what it feels like to have questions and not know where to turn, and to feel lost in a system that can seem indifferent to your needs. Our mission is to change that experience for our clients, one person, one family at a time.
We are committed to making sure every client feels empowered, informed, and supported. Whether you are managing a new diagnosis, coordinating complex care, or simply trying to make sense of a medical bill, we are here to assist and support you every step of the way.
My path to patient advocacy wasn't a straight line. It was shaped by personal experience, professional growth, and a deep commitment to making sure no one has to navigate the healthcare system alone.
Before founding Steadfast Advocacy, I spent my career first in marketing and then in the corporate world, developing the organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills that I now bring to every client I serve. However, it was my experience as a caregiver for a parent living with Parkinson's disease that truly called me to this work. Accompanying them through the complexities of the healthcare system, I learned firsthand how overwhelming, confusing, and at times dehumanizing that journey can be. I also learned how much of a difference it makes to have someone in your corner who knows what questions to ask and what to look out for.
That experience inspired me to become a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA), a credential that reflects both in-depth knowledge, firsthand experience, and an ongoing commitment to excellence in the field. Today, I am proud to put those skills to work for individuals and families facing their own healthcare challenges.
While I work with clients of all kinds, I have a particular interest in supporting older adults and their families. I understand the unique complexities that come with aging, from navigating Medicare and Medicaid to researching housing options and ensuring that end-of-life wishes are clearly documented and respected. I know how much is at stake in these moments, and I bring both professional expertise and genuine compassion to every situation.
At Steadfast Advocacy, my goal is simple: to make sure you and your loved ones feel informed, supported, and heard throughout your healthcare journey.
